Peanut butter crackers recipe homemade tastes like peanut butter sandwich crackers

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 Tbs HomePlate Creamy PB
  • 5 tablespoons water
  • olive oil
  • 1 Tbs sesame seeds

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients. Make a well in the center and add the HomePlate Creamy Peanut Butter and water, stirring until a thick dough forms.
  • Shape the dough into a ball and place onto a lightly floured surface. Knead three or four times, then shape into a block, wrap in plastic wrap, and place in the fridge for one hour.
  • Just before removing the dough, preheat the oven to 350F and prepare a large cookie with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Unwrap the dough and place it back on the floured surface. Roll out the dough into a sheet about 1/16th inch thick. Slice the dough to form about 48 crackers (rows of 6x8).
  • Transfer the crackers to the lined baking sheet and prick with a fork. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and sesame seeds. Bake for about 13 minutes or until crispy. Remove from oven, let cool, and enjoy!
