Peanut Butter "Super-Ball"

Print Recipe

This delectable dip is a guaranteed touchdown at your party. With a few simple ingredients, this dip is a lot easier to prepare than it looks, and you'll definitely impress your guests. Make this for the big game, a football-themed birthday party, or even adapt the recipe to mimic any type of sports ball. Serve this during pre-game & it'll be gone before halftime!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick of butter (1/4 cup), softened
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup HomePlate Peanut Butter of your choice
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips
  • Chocolate sprinkles to cover the football
  • Vanilla frosting or melted white chocolate for the laces

Instructions

  • Using an electric mixer, cream the butter, cream cheese, and HomePlate Peanut Butter. Add in the vanilla and powdered sugar in 1/2 cup increments. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Turn out the peanut butter mixture on a sheet of waxed paper. Using clean hands, form the mixture into the shape of a football. Lift the football up by the wax paper and place onto your serving dish. A deep glass dish works perfectly!
  • Completely cover the football in sprinkles. Pipe on the frosting "laces." Serve with apples, graham crackers, vanilla wafers, crackers, strawberries, or whatever your heart desires!
