Here’s a snack hack that we love because it lets us get all of those bits of peanut butter that get stuck at the bottom of the jar or left right around the sides, plus, you can make this peanut butter treat in a jif! Well, you can make it in a jif, but it actually needs at least an hour, if not an entire night for it to come together into a delectable treat.
It seems like meal prepping is as popular as ever these days. For those of us who are trying to eat healthy or save a dollars, it's great to do things in bulk. Cook up a bunch of food on Sunday and then sparse it out in tupperware to be enjoyed all week long. It's tough to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the entire week as they will likely be soggy after the first day or two, but honestly, we've never tried, so maybe we've been doing it wrong this entire time. Probably not, but maybe.
Here we have a breakfast that can be planned in advance, which is great for those of us who wake up with just enough time to take the dog for a walk, jump in the shower, and head to the office. These overnight oats can quickly be thrown together at the same that you are putting a bit of peanut butter on a spoon as a light night sweet delight before heading to bed. The next morning, just wake up, add a couple of berries, and dig in. You can eat these on the walk to work, on the metro, or just twist on the lid, throw it in your work bag, and enjoy it at your desk along with a cup of coffee from the office kitchen.
