Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies

These classic cookies are a must-have during the holidays and HomePlate Peanut Butter adds the perfect flavor and texture. These soft, rich, peanut-buttery treats are great to bring to your next office gathering or your friend's holiday potluck.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • ½ cup packed brown sugar

  • ½ cup HomePlate Peanut Butter (we used Crunchy!)

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • egg

  • ½ cups flour

  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda

  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • ½ cup additional granulated sugar

  • About 36 chocolate blossom milk chocolates, unwrapped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.

  • Using a mixer, cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and first ½ C granulated sugar.

  • Add HomePlate Peanut Butter and the egg and beat on medium speed until well combined.

  • Using a spoon or spatula, stir in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until dough forms.

  • Shape dough into 1-inch balls, then roll in the additional granulated sugar in a separate bowl.

  • Place dough balls about 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet, and bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are golden brown.

  • Remove from the oven and immediately press 1 chocolate blossom into the middle of each cookie.

  • Let cookies cool & enjoy!
